⚠ Fraud warning: fake websites and cash-on-delivery scams

Buy only from the GUXON official store or an authorised channel. If a price is well below normal, treat it as a warning sign.

Important notice

GUXON has received reports from customers about unofficial websites and single-page shopping pages that use GUXON product photos, our brand name and our product information to sell goods.

Some customers who ordered through these pages received parcels by 7-ELEVEN cash on delivery, and what arrived was not a genuine GUXON product. When they contacted the seller's "customer service" for a refund, they were asked for bank account numbers and branch codes.

⚠ Do not hand over personal or payment details

If an unfamiliar customer service contact asks for your bank account number, branch code, card details, passwords or verification codes — on any pretext, including a refund or return — stop and do not provide them.

📢 Check the domain before you click

As well as looking at product photos, check the website address and domain. Official sites and authorised resellers normally use a recognisable brand or shop domain.

✓ Recognisable official / authorised domains
For example guxon.com.tw, guxon.shop, or a confirmed authorised partner domain.

⚠ Unfamiliar, random-looking or unusual domains
Scam sites often use long strings of meaningless characters, unfamiliar domains, or addresses unrelated to the brand — for example bxhasvks9g.asia or sdwqhghf.com.

A normal-looking address is not proof of safety either. If you cannot confirm that a site is GUXON official or authorised, do not click, do not pay, and do not give out personal details.

🔎 Not sure whether a site is genuine?

Send a screenshot or the URL to GUXON customer service and we will confirm. You can also check Taiwan's government online fraud reporting service to see whether the site has already been reported.

■ Using GUXON photos does not make a site official

The scam pages found so far may reproduce GUXON product photos, product names, brand information and descriptions, so the page looks much like the real thing.

Note carefully: using GUXON product images does not mean the site is the GUXON official store or an authorised seller.

■ Cash-on-delivery parcels

If a 7-ELEVEN or other cash-on-delivery parcel arrives, check the order and the sender first.

If you cannot confirm where it came from, do not pay and do not accept it. A familiar brand or product name on the label is not a reason to pay.

■ What if the product is not a GUXON product?

Customers have reported buying through unofficial sites and receiving goods that do not match genuine GUXON products.

Keep the evidence. The parcel, the delivery paperwork, the item itself, the website, the order page, advertising screenshots, customer service conversations and payment records may all matter for a complaint or a police report.

■ The "refund" may be the next stage of the scam

After receiving the wrong item, most people contact the seller for a refund. But if the site was fraudulent to begin with, its "customer service" is not GUXON's either.

In the cases reported so far, the other party used "helping you with the refund" as the reason to ask for a bank account number and branch code.

⚠ Never provide

  • ✕ Bank account number / branch code
  • ✕ Card details
  • ✕ Online banking username and password
  • ✕ SMS verification codes (OTP)
  • ✕ Any other sensitive personal or financial information

■ If you have already paid, or think you have been scammed

Stop dealing with the suspicious party and keep all your evidence.

  • Step 01 — Keep the evidence: order, parcel, website, adverts, delivery information, customer service conversations and payment records.
  • Step 02 — Call 165: Taiwan's anti-fraud helpline.
  • Step 03 — Go to the police: if you believe you have been defrauded, take your evidence and file a report.

FAQ

Q1. If a site shows GUXON product photos, is it official?

No. Photos, brand names and product descriptions can all be copied by a third party. Check the address and the sales channel. If you are unsure, contact our official LINE account @guxon.

Q2. The GUXON Cube is very cheap on a site — should I buy?

If the price is well below the official one, check the source first. The official single-unit price for the Cube is NT$1,290. Something like three for around NT$1,950 is a clear warning sign.

Q3. What about an unexplained 7-ELEVEN cash-on-delivery parcel?

Confirm the order and the sender before paying. If you cannot, do not pay and do not accept it.

Q4. What should I do if I have been scammed?

Call the 165 anti-fraud helpline. If you believe you have been defrauded, take your evidence to the police.
